first days in Izumi

21.3.
My first day in my new room and I was busy, so I didn't spent nearly any time at home. In the morning I went to the new 100yen shop next to izumiya and bought a lot of things I still needed in my room.
Then I went to university to talk with the OG (old girl) from kendo club, if she knew anything about a dôjô in Izumi. After that I went to Nanba to see the Nipponbashi Streetfesta where I (since I am crazy enough) also dressed up - as waloli (gothic lolita in kimono/hakama style) I know I don't have the money to throw out, but I really wanted to buy this (since it was the last one and sale, I couldn't resist >.< I'm sorry!!) So then I met some friends from former exchange students days and we planned to go to the oosaka tower - what we did, but since there was an enormous queue in front of it, we gave up that plan and went back to nanba to go to karaoke. Karaoke also was qued like hell, so I couldn't go with the others, since I had a date for dinner with some friends in Izumi, that I neither could cancel... but eventhough we were just walking around, I was happy to see some faces from former times again.
Then, back at Izumi, I met with my friends there and we went to Seizeria - my very first time there! We were talkning a lot until it got late and also quite cold outside...

22.3.
First time going to kendô in Momoyama again! It was really great to do kendô there again. Now there are so many new faces and the new people are really nice! Since I had quite a long break, I forgot too many things, but I really enjoyed doing kendô again!

23.3.
I went to Niinas graduation ceremony. But before going to the ceremony, I had to deliver some document at Momoyama, so I had to rush to my friends ceremony, which was in the very center of Ôsaka. Unfortunately my mobile just ran out of battery when I was on my way to the ceremony, so I didn't know what to do, so finally I decided just to go there and hope that I still can enter the ceremony or wait outside hoping to find her afterwards. But I had luck, I still could enter. Since students and other visitors were seperated (we were on the balcony) I watched the ceremony alone hoping to find her later - but the whole place was bigger than I imagined, so the chances to find her were really small... And yet, again, I had luck. I was sitting in front of the place where the people of her major were sitting, still some houndred people... So afterwards I went to the front of the balcony shouting her name and waving like hell, hoping that she will see me - and it worked out! So we finally found each other, and outside we were taking pictures and then after she also piced up her graduation papers, I was invited to starbucks for a sakura frappuchino and sakura cake! ^__^

24.4.
Again kendô. And then, I got a feaver at night...

25.3.
In the morning my friend from before came to my place and I made austrian crepe (Palatschinken). And actually I was surpised that they really worked out that good! But still, I didn't feel good, so I couldn't join her with her shopping (because she had to buy a lot of things too, since she also should move just the next day)

29.3. I finally finished my design for the contest for this years mascot for the austrian manga festival. I'm happy that I got advise of some friends and also a chance to use a scanner.

30.3.
I went to Ôsaka to apply for my visa. I arrived at 2pm and left at 5pm. I had to wait after filling in the first application for 2 hours, but actually that was still fast, since there were 100 people waiting before me. What surprised me even more, was that the office closing time was 4pm, but they just didn't kick the people out (like I'm sure they would do in austria) but just continued their work! So I finished also this task.

31.3.
In the morning I got up early, since I had to pick up my alien registration card from Toyonaka city hall - which again ment 2 hours on trains, plus 30minutes on a bus. So without any problem and faster than I thought, I got my card and with that I again went to the city hall of Izumi, which I also finished without nearly any waiting time.
Since the bus from Izumi Fuchû station to Izumi Chûô station costs 350 yen, I decided to walk back home, which took about one hour and costed a lot of pain in my back (since I had a very heavy backpack with my document map and some stuff to study to kill the time in the train and eventual waiting time)
At night a friend came for dinner and since last time, my crepe worked out that good, I wanted to make crepe again and before I made some couscous with vegetables. But about my crepe - this time I failed T.T

1.4.
I went to Kôhî-kan, where a friend is jobbing to experience the pancake she always is talking about and getting a straberry cappuchino (with nearly no coffe - extra for me, since I don't like coffee) and she draw me a chocolate heart on my cake ^^
There I spend half of the day, filling in papers and repeating kanji... then I went to open a saving account at the post office, which I needed for university, but there I was told that I cannot open it, since I don't have any health insurance, so I have to wait for the letter from the insurance first...

I moved to Izumi!

Ok, since I didn't write anything in my english diary yet, I cancelled it and instead, I decided to write here in english.
I hope you enjoy my diary.

So I will start here, writing about the day I moved to Izumi...

20.3.
Since I lived in Toyonaka, I had to drive all the midôsuji line to the other end of Ôsaka city, so I decided to leave before the rush hour, since I would just simply have died with all my luggage on the train. So I got up at 5 in the morning and said goodbye to the place I stayed before.
After 1,5hours I reached Tôga-Mikita, where my friend whose mother will become my garant, lived. I was picked up by her and her mother and we went to eat breakfast first and then we went to their house, where I got a big box full of useful stuff for the new start in my new room (especially tea cups and other kitchen stuff)
Then we went to Universit, where a freemarket was helt and I got a rice coocker für 100 yen and a kotatsu (table with heating) for only 500 yen!!
After that we met with the owner to finish the contract and I finally got the key to my new room. And actually I saw my room for the first time too. and it was really great!!) then we went alltogether (of course without the owner) to Nitori - some kind of japanese ikea, where I got my futon, a small bookshelf and other things I still needed in my room. At the end we went to running sushi - first time going to akindo since a year!
I was really tired, but since I still had luggage at the other end of Ôsaka, I had to pick that up too, so I went back to Toyonaka to pick it up, which ment spending another 1600 yen and 4 hours on trains...
When I arrived back home at night I was really tired like hell... but happy like hell! ^^

And, on the next morning, I wanted to eat cereals with milk, but I realised that I don't have any milk at home, so I took instant maccha latte (which you boil with water) and then I saw that I didn't even have a spoon, so instead I ate them by a combination of using chopsticks and drinking it...
